Location

Kasteel Wolfrath is situated in Limburg’s Green Belt - the narrowest part of the Netherlands. Nature reserve ‘t Hout in the immediate vicinity lends itself to beautiful walks. There is a cycling network in the area that makes for hassle-free cycling. There are also a number of forests nearby that offer more opportunities for walking.

Both Belgium and Germany are within close reach. For more serious cyclists, the hilly Heuvelland provides challenging climbs that feature in the Amstel Gold Race.  The exuberant Maastricht is 20 minutes by car and has much to offer in a day trip.  

Wine lovers will also not be disappointed: besides our own selection of stunning wines, the area boasts numerous wineries offering tastings and tours.
